Prayer Book

Please list your prayer requests and praises that you would like everyone to see and pray about. The newest prayers should go on top. Please do not erase any of the prayers; just add to the top of the list. Go back and add answers to prayers or updates over time. This will build the faith of our community and show us God's faithfulness and creativity in answering us, His children. Please put your initials, the date, and the date of answer or updates (see examples below).

• 3/18/07-Please pray for my brother Bob. He is going through a very hard time.  His wife filed for divorce(whom he loves very much.  He's losing his house to a forclucure because of a lack of work.  His only son is in jail who he doesn't have a very good relationship with.  He's an alcholic and admits he's hit his bottom.  Praise God he finally said he'd "give God a try"
• and come to church.  He's been there the last 2 Sundays and he says he likes it.  Thanks, NP     
• 3/6/07 - Pray for Alice Landino-she is in the hospital, pregnant with triplets! Everything is good, but she is on monitored bedrest. Pray that the babies will continue to grow inutero for at least 4 more weeks! RK
• 3/6/07 - Please pray for the Bragg's and the Hutchinson's homes to be sold as they have both needed to take jobs out of state and need to sell these houses! RK
• 02/18/07 - Please pray first for salvation for my three children, Eric, Kevin, and Lindsay. Pray for Kevin to get the victory over his drug addiction and for peace for our family as we go through this difficult time. Also pray that my sons Eric and Kevin get a job. Their both laid off. My daughter Lindsay and her boyfriend are starting to have questions about God and where their going to go when they die. Her boyfriend said he wants to be sure where he's going. Praise God!!! • 10/19/06 - Robert Lee, has a brother in the hospital right now. This morning he was told that they don't think he's going to live. He was being mistreated for pnuemonia, but turned out to be kidney blockages and the poison has entered his system, his extremities are turning blue…His name is John Lee, 47 years old, lives in Imlay City Michigan, in a Flint Michigan Hospital right now. Please, if you can help me get him out on as many prayer lists as possible!!!
• 06/18/06 - Prayer: Pray for Baby Kerwin, she's in a breech position, and may need to be delivered by C-section, so pray for the most healthy outcome. (Dave K) ANSWER 07-08-06: She was healthy as can be, delivered as it was suspected, and its all good!
• 5/31/06 - Prayer: Please continue to pray for my Mom, Louise George. She's slowly recovering from the bronchitis, but apparently she must have another virus on top of that, and the doctors are concerned with her progress. She goes for another check-up next week. (Sidenote: she's in her early 70's and I'm realizing that age alone can be a big factor in recovery now.) (RMG)
• 5/26/06 - Praise: My parents just found out this morning that some major plumbing issues they were worried about finding funds for ends up being a city issue, which will be resolved soon... without them having to pay! Woo-hoo!!! Big relief! (RMG)
• 5/25/06 - Praise: God has really blessed me in my job. A huge proposal I helped write was just approved that will really help my resume, my self-esteem, and my wallet. (DBG)
• 5/24/06 - Praise: Ruth Gross' Mom was in the hospital and came home yesterday. Diagnosis was bronchitis, and Mrs. George is already much better with treatment. (RMG)
• 5/24/06 - Praise: Rebecca Gould is helping me edit the directory on the wiki...I needed the help for sure (DBG)
• 5/23/06 - Request: Wisdom for the men's ministry, we have a big task and we need the Lord's help (DK)
• 5/23/06 - Request: the speedy recovery of Mike Barker and wisdom for his family as he recuperates. Generosity from friends and family to support them. (DBG)
• 5/23/06 - Praise: the adoption of he tools that Paradox uses to improve communication (DBG)
• 5/23/06 - Praise: Craig's safe travel and encouragement he recieved while in Va. Beach (DBG)
