FAQ
This is a brainstorming area for the time being. The goal is to list as many FAQ's as possible and then go back and answer them. You can help by doing two things...
1. If you can think of any other good questions, add them below in the right category
2. If you know any answers, add them below the question in italics
"What's Paradox actually like?:"
Q. Do you have childcare?
A. Yes we do. The children are taught Christian material that is age-appropriate by quality volunteers that will take very good care of your children.
Q. What do I wear?
A. Apart from covering your naked bits, we don't care...seriously...some people wear suits, some wear jeans. What would you wear to Applebee's? That will work here!
Q. What kind of music do you guys play?
A. Good question. The answer is that it depends. Sometimes we play slow stuff, sometimes harder stuff. But don't worry, we don't even own an organ!
Q. How long are the services?
A. We try to keep them around an hour and fifteen minutes.
Q. Do I have to give money to come?
A. Nope. But at exactly your 7th time visiting we follow you home and clean out your stash of cash from your sock drawer (j/k). We don't guilt people into giving. We have found that most people put their money where their heart is; give when and if you feel ready. If you are just visiting - please don't give!
Q. What are you going to teach my kids?
A. We believe the Bible is the inspired work of God and we are committed to teaching from it, whenever we teach anything. We believe that children are more than just the church of tomorrow. They are the church today. We must help our kids learn at the place and pace they are as they grow. It is crucial that we take seriously the spiritual needs and development of our children. Because our target audience is largely in their 20’s and 30’s (the time when most people begin their families) it is critical that we develop a children’s ministry that reflects the value we place on children and their spiritual development.
Q. What time are service(s)?
A. 10:30am
Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. Just yourself. We provide the coffee, and something to write on/with. You don't even have to bring a "church smile," just bring yourself.
